Founded by Ali-Reza Adl-Tabatabai, formerly of Intel Labs, Google, and Uber, the San Mateo-based company aims to address the growing challenge of managing AI-generated code.

The company offers a subscription platform that uses AI agents to automate code reviews, manage continuous integration workflows, and perform security and maintenance tasks. Engineering teams can also design custom agents to handle specific validation and diagnostic operations.

Gitar’s platform focuses on code validation to ensure quality and security before deployment.
