Boost Security Acquires SecureIQx and Korbit.ai, Raises $4 Million
Boost Security has acquired SecureIQx and Korbit.ai, along with $4 million in additional funding from White Star Capital, Amiral Ventures, Accelia Capital, and Sorensen Capital, announced in a press release.
SecureIQx, founded at MIT, developed a Software Composition Analysis engine that can analyze binary and source code across multiple programming languages to determine if vulnerabilities are reachable and exploitable. Korbit.ai built an AI-based pull request review platform trained on hundreds of millions of lines of code to detect security issues and performance problems during code review.
The acquisitions add reachability analysis and AI-based static analysis capabilities to Boost Security's platform, which unifies developer endpoint protection, software supply chain security, and application security posture management. The new funding will support continued development of the platform designed to secure software throughout the development lifecycle.
