Assail Signs Qanapi to $4.125 Million AI Security Contract

Assail has signed Qanapi to a five year, $4.125 million contract covering autonomous red teaming and quantum resistant encryption across both companies' platforms.

Assail has signed Qanapi to a five year contract worth $4.125 million across both companies' platforms, the companies announced in a press release.

Under the contract, Qanapi will run Assail's Reaper platform inside its FedRAMP Class D (High) baseline cloud environment, aligned with DoW Impact Level 4 requirements. Reaper will perform continuous autonomous red teaming across Qanapi's infrastructure, with findings and AI threat intelligence kept inside Qanapi's authorization boundary.

Reaper will also automate Qanapi's Security Technical Implementation Guide assessments and draft Plans of Action and Milestones for FedRAMP compliance. The platform will retest assets inside the boundary to validate findings against Security Assessment Reports and generate patches for Qanapi's team to review.

As part of the agreement, Assail will deploy Qanapi's Karst platform across its own environment, including Karst_Gorge, Karst_Echo, Karst_Fathom, and Karst_SafeShare. Assail will also use Qanapi's FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic modules to add quantum resistant protection to its platforms.
