Palo Alto Networks is negotiating to acquire Israeli cybersecurity startup Beacon Security, Calcalist reports. The report did not give a price. On the same day, The Information reported that Palo Alto is also in talks to buy Clutch Security, which secures the credentials AI agents use.

Founded in 2024, Beacon provides a platform that lets security teams build and deploy AI agents for threat detection, incident investigation and response. It gathers data from security systems across an organization, then standardizes and enriches that information to give agents a unified view.

Beacon raised $13 million in seed funding in July 2026 in a round led by Notable Capital. The company says it serves dozens of organizations in sectors including financial services, insurance, health care, hospitality and technology.
