Optiv Introduces Agentic Security Operations with Google Security Operations and Wiz

Optiv has introduced Optiv Agentic Security Operations, a managed security operations service formerly known as Optiv MDR, announced in a press release.

The service combines agentic AI, exposure management, practitioner support, Google Security Operations, and Wiz integrations. It uses Google Security Operations and Google Threat Intelligence for threat detection, investigation, and response.

Wiz Cloud identifies and prioritizes cloud exposures, misconfigurations, and attack paths. Wiz Code assesses risk across code and CI/CD, while Wiz Defend provides cloud detection and response. These tools send exposure and runtime context into Optiv workflows for review by AI agents and security practitioners.

The service is designed to reduce manual security operations center work through AI assisted triage and automation. Optiv practitioners validate findings, investigate alerts, and provide response guidance.

Optiv is presenting the service at Black Hat 2026 this week at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
