Dialpad Agrees to Combine With Ada at $430 Million Valuation
Ada agreed to combine with Dialpad in a share only transaction valuing the Toronto customer service AI company at about C$600 million, or US$430 million, reports The Globe and Mail. The transaction is based on information from two people familiar with its terms.
Ada was valued at US$1.2 billion in a US$130 million financing round during the pandemic technology boom. Its current revenue is about US$50 million on an annual basis, according to the report.
Ada develops AI agents that answer customer questions and complete tasks such as changing bookings and issuing refunds. Dialpad sells communications and contact center software and launched a platform for building autonomous voice and text agents in October 2025.
Ada has about 200 employees. The company eliminated half of its marketing team in July and cut another 25 jobs shortly before the reported agreement.
