Chord Acquires Zenlytic for Enterprise AI Expansion
Chord, an AI native data platform for commerce brands, has acquired AI powered business intelligence company Zenlytic, the company said in a press release. The deal doubles Chord's revenue and adds customers including Verizon, J.Crew, Domino's and Stanley Black & Decker.
Zenlytic built analytics that work across industries on existing enterprise data warehouses, while Chord focused on commerce brands. Chord is bringing Zenlytic's technology and key team members into its platform as it expands beyond commerce into wider enterprise AI.
The combined platform keeps business definitions and governed metrics current, applies existing permissions, validates queries and gives data teams visibility into agent activity. Chief executive Bryan Mahoney said companies should be able to own their business context and use it with whichever AI models they choose, instead of becoming dependent on providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
