Defense Unicorns Names Lauren Knausenberger Chief Business Officer
Defense Unicorns has appointed Lauren Knausenberger as chief business officer, the company announced in a press release. She will lead growth strategy, develop partnerships, and expand the company's work across the defense sector.
Knausenberger most recently served as executive vice president and chief innovation officer at SAIC, where her responsibilities included AI transformation, technology partnerships, and venture investments.
She previously served as chief information officer of the Department of the Air Force. In that role, she oversaw enterprise IT, cybersecurity, data, and AI, along with a technology portfolio valued at about $17 billion and approximately 20,000 cyber operations and support personnel.
