OpenAI and ICBA Bring Daybreak Cybersecurity Tools to Community Banks
Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and OpenAI announced an alliance in a press release to give community banks access to AI enabled cybersecurity capabilities, training and technical support. Eligible ICBA member banks can explore OpenAI's Daybreak for Frontline Defenders with subsidized access under the program's requirements.
Daybreak supports defensive cybersecurity tasks including vulnerability identification and validation, threat investigation, authorized security testing, remediation and risk prioritization. The alliance also gives participating banks access to technical guidance on using the tools.
ICBA will run sessions where community banks can demonstrate AI use cases, discuss implementation issues and share lessons. Members can also use the AI Adoption group on ICBA Community, a peer network with more than 8,000 community bankers.
