Patrick Buell will lead Eliza's forward deployed engineers and help teams turn client priorities into working AI systems.

Eliza announced in a press release that Patrick Buell has joined the company as Chief Deployment Officer. Buell will lead its forward deployed engineers, develop technical talent, and help teams turn client priorities into working AI systems.

Buell cofounded Hakkoda, a data and AI consultancy acquired by IBM in 2025. He served as Vice President of Consulting and later as Chief Innovation Officer. He previously spent more than eight years in enterprise data and technology roles at Kaiser Permanente.
