CleanArc Data Centers Secures Investment from Nuveen
CleanArc Data Centers has announced a strategic investment from Nuveen, the investment manager of TIAA, announced in a press release. This investment will support the development of CleanArc's flagship data center campus in Virginia, which is expected to deliver 300 MW of capacity by the first quarter of 2027.
The Virginia site is set to receive two 300 MW transformers by late 2026, marking one of the largest 2N power deliveries to the Virginia global cluster for a data center campus. The groundbreaking for this new campus is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
Nuveen's investment reflects its growing interest in digital infrastructure and strengthens its exposure to CleanArc's platform as demand in the sector accelerates. Snowhawk remains the majority stakeholder in CleanArc, with Nuveen and Townsend Group as minority partners.
