Buildots AI Platform Enhances Construction Efficiency at NHS Project

Integrated Health Projects (IHP) has engaged the AI platform of Buildots to enhance construction efficiency at the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) of Nottingham University Hospitals. Announced in a press release, the collaboration aims to optimize the delivery of the £105 million NHS project.

Buildots' technology utilizes 360-degree site imagery compared against the project's Building Information Modeling (BIM) model and schedule to provide an accurate view of planned versus actual progress. This allows for early identification of at-risk activities, enabling proactive measures to address inefficiencies.

The platform's integration into IHP's construction management approach has embedded continuous improvement, using objective progress data to identify root causes of delays and shape mitigation plans. Additionally, IHP enhances Buildots' insights by incorporating biometric turnstile data to track workforce levels, ensuring optimal labor allocation.

The collaboration has been recognized for its innovation, being shortlisted for the Digital Innovation in Productivity Award at the Digital Construction Awards 2025. This project builds on Buildots' expertise in healthcare construction, following successful projects like the Royal Bournemouth Hospital's BEACH building.
