Promise Robotics Signs D.R. Horton Deal to Support 1,250+ Homes
Promise Robotics signed a multi year commercial agreement with D.R. Horton, America's largest homebuilder by volume, the company announced in a press release. D.R. Horton will use Promise Robotics' Factory-as-a-Service platform to support the production of more than 1,250 homes, becoming the first major US homebuilder to use it as Promise expands its US manufacturing network.
Promise Robotics says it applies AI across the homebuilding production process: interpreting existing home designs, generating production plans and robotic instructions, orchestrating manufacturing and connecting that production with site installation.
Through the service, builders get automated production capacity without developing and operating their own factories, which Promise says can improve cycle times, increase capacity and make scaling more predictable.
