Fort Hill LogiX opens AI construction payment audits to project owners
Fort Hill LogiX said in a press release that capital project owners can now use its system to review construction payment applications against executed contracts. Fort Hill Associates built the system inside its construction audit practice and is its first customer.
The system uses AI to read project documents, then applies fixed rules to test each line item against the contract. It returns exceptions with references to the supporting document and page.
A Certified Construction Auditor reviews each exception and approves the report before it reaches the owner, who makes the final decision. Fort Hill LogiX operates as a separate company from Fort Hill Associates.
