Corelight, Dropzone AI, SCYTHE, SimSpace, and Sondera Form AI Proving Grounds Consortium

June 03, 2026
Corelight, Dropzone AI, SCYTHE, SimSpace, and Sondera have launched the AI Proving Grounds Consortium to help organizations test and validate AI systems in cybersecurity before deployment. The group will host its first virtual event on June 18, 2026.

In a press release, Corelight, Dropzone AI, SCYTHE, SimSpace, and Sondera announced the creation of the AI Proving Grounds Consortium (AIPGC), a coalition focused on building trust in AI used in cybersecurity operations.

The AIPGC brings together executives, security operations leaders, and AI experts to train, test, and validate AI systems in environments that replicate real production conditions. The initiative aims to help organizations close the gap between confidence in AI defenses and actual readiness by using realistic simulations rather than traditional tabletop exercises.

The founding members said the consortium will provide a collaborative space for developing benchmarks and standards that measure AI system performance under operational pressure. The goal is to enable enterprises to safely adopt AI technologies in mission critical security environments.

AIPGC’s first virtual event, titled "Move from Proactive Defense to Preemptive Resilience," will take place on June 18, 2026. The program will feature a keynote by FC, Co-Founder of Cygenta and former Head of Offensive Cyber Research at Raytheon, followed by a panel discussion and live Q&A session focused on validating AI systems before deployment.
