EDGE AI Foundation Forms Three Edge AI Working Groups
EDGE AI Foundation announces in a press release three working groups focused on physical AI and robotics, security, and interoperability and standards.
NXP Semiconductors leads the physical AI and robotics group, with participants from AWS, Arduino, Analog Devices, DeepX, and Johns Hopkins University. Exein and Dell lead the security group, which will address protection for edge AI models, data pipelines, devices, and user privacy. STMicroelectronics and NXP lead the interoperability group, which will develop common protocols, benchmarks, and standards for edge hardware and software.
The foundation also formed a partnership with LF Edge, an open source organization within the Linux Foundation. The partners will align LF Edge reference projects with the working groups and produce reference architectures that incorporate their security, safety, and interoperability work.
