Advantech, Wind River, and Nybsys have launched an AI-powered Private 5G Express Solution for industrial private networks, announced in a press release. This new solution is designed to enhance network security and efficiency in various sectors, including manufacturing, warehousing, and retail.

The solution integrates Wind River's eLxr Pro, a Debian-based Linux offering, with Advantech's edge appliances and Nybsys's Private 5G Express (P5GE). The P5GE is a compact, plug-and-play 5G network in a box, engineered for rapid deployment and optimized for power efficiency. It features a five-minute boot time, providing instant connectivity for critical operations.

Advantech's FWA and SKY server edge solutions, powered by Intel's processors, form the backbone of this deployment, ensuring optimized power, cooling, and compute resources at the edge. This collaboration aims to meet the growing demands for AI processing and network security in edge computing environments.
