Dirac and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are partnering to support AI enabled manufacturing through Dirac's BuildOS platform, hosted on AWS infrastructure including AWS GovCloud. Separately, Seasats secured more than $24 million in committed U.S. government orders for Lightfish unmanned surface vessels and Robot as a Service agreements supporting the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy.
Pentagon Launches Custom ChatGPT and Grok for Military Use
The Pentagon introduces customized versions of OpenAI's ChatGPT and xAI's Grok through its GenAI.mil portal. The tools will be available to 3 million military and civilian personnel for defense related work with controls for sensitive data. Read more

Dirac and AWS Partner on AI Manufacturing Platform
Dirac and Amazon Web Services partner to deploy BuildOS, an AI process design platform for manufacturing. The platform uses AWS infrastructure, including AWS GovCloud, to support automated production workflows in defense, aerospace and industrial settings. Read more

Lutnick says Anthropic resolves military AI dispute with Trump administration
US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says Anthropic has resolved the administration's concerns over restrictions on military use of its AI models. The comments follow a Pentagon supply chain risk designation, a court ruling favoring Anthropic, and remarks by co founder Tom Brown at a G20 technology event. Read more
Darkforce Seeks FedRAMP High Status for AI Cybersecurity Platform
Darkforce, the U.S. federal subsidiary of Darkstrike, submitted a FedRAMP High authorization package through Knox Systems. The designation would support use of its AI cybersecurity and safety platform by U.S. government, defense and national security organizations. Read more

Airbility Raises KRW 6.5 Billion for AI Counter Drone Systems

Havoc and Rune Technologies complete autonomous logistics integration
Havoc integrated its autonomous aircraft with Rune Technologies' TyrOS logistics platform for military resupply missions in contested or disconnected environments. The companies tested the system on August 16, 2026, at Fort Hood, Texas, during the xTech Overwatch Pegasus Charge III exercise. Read more
