Innoflight to Supply Avionics for SDA Tracking Layer Tranche 3

Innoflight has been selected as a supplier for the Space Development Agency's PWSA Tracking Layer Tranche 3 program, providing avionics for a planned 72 satellite missile tracking constellation.

Innoflight announced in a press release that it has been selected as a supplier for the Space Development Agency's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture Tracking Layer Tranche 3 program.

The company will provide avionics for the planned Low Earth Orbit constellation, which is designed to detect, warn, and track advanced missile threats, including hypersonic glide vehicles.

The SDA awarded more than $3.5 billion in agreements to multiple prime defense contractors, with each contractor set to build 18 space vehicles for a total of 72. Innoflight said its supplied systems include secure communications, mesh network encryption, mission networking electronics, and mission timing electronics.

The new awards extend Innoflight's work on PWSA Tranches 0 through 3.
