Thea Wins Tech & Learning Higher Education Award

Thea received a Tech & Learning award for its AI study platform, which creates personalized practice sessions from course materials.

Thea Study said in a press release that its Thea active learning platform won in the Higher Education category of the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Back to School 2026. Thea was among 17 winners in the category.

The AI study platform asks students questions and adjusts practice sessions based on their responses. It focuses subsequent questions on concepts that students have not yet mastered.

Educators can upload tests, study guides, and other course materials to create practice content, then share it through a learning management system. The service does not require IT setup or student accounts, and Thea Study says uploaded materials are not made accessible to students.
