The Bot Company Plans $250 Million Raise at $4 Billion Valuation

October 29, 2025
The Bot Company, co-founded by former Cruise CEO Kyle Vogt, is reportedly seeking $250 million in new funding that would value the robotics startup at more than $4 billion.

The Bot Company, the robotics startup founded by former Cruise CEO Kyle Vogt, is in talks to raise $250 million at a valuation exceeding $4 billion, according to Bloomberg.

The company, launched last year by Vogt alongside former Tesla AI leader Paril Jain and ex-Cruise software engineer Luke Holoubek, focuses on developing affordable robots capable of performing everyday household tasks. This round would double the company’s valuation from its previous funding in the spring, which was led by Greenoaks Capital.

The Bot Company’s backers include Stripe co-founders Patrick and John Collison, Spark Capital, and Quiet Capital, who participated in a $150 million seed round in 2024. The company has not publicly commented on the ongoing fundraising discussions.

The new financing comes amid a surge in AI-driven robotics investment. As of September 2025, robotics startups have collectively raised $8.5 billion, surpassing the total for the previous year, with companies like Figure AI and Skild AI also securing large funding rounds.
