Reliable Robotics Raises $160 Million to Scale Autonomous Flight Systems

Reliable Robotics has secured $160 million in new funding led by Nimble Partners to accelerate production and deployment of its FAA-certifiable Reliable Autonomy System for fully automated aircraft operations.

Reliable Robotics has raised $160 million in new funding to expand production and deployment of its Reliable Autonomy System, announced in a press release. The system is described as the first Federal Aviation Administration certifiable technology that enables fully automated aircraft operation.

The financing round was led by Nimble Partners, with participation from Eclipse, Lightspeed, Coatue, Pathbreaker Ventures, and several new investors including Island Green Capital, Socium Ventures, AE Ventures, RTX Ventures, and others. John Burbank of Nimble Partners will join Reliable Robotics' board of directors.

Reliable Robotics stated that it has received commitments for over 200 systems from commercial and military customers. The company was also selected for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Advanced Air Mobility Integration Pilot Program, which aims to accelerate autonomous regional air cargo operations starting this year.

The company continues to work with the FAA on certification for commercial operations. Reliable Robotics said the agency has accepted its certification plans and compliance methods, positioning the company to begin autonomous cargo operations in 2026.
