DEEPX and Ultralytics Partner to Standardize Physical AI Deployment

May 15, 2026
DEEPX has partnered with Ultralytics to integrate its Neural Processing Units into the Ultralytics YOLO ecosystem, enabling developers to deploy AI models more easily on edge hardware.

DEEPX has announced a strategic partnership with Ultralytics, the creator of the YOLO computer vision architecture, in a press release. The collaboration aims to unify NPU hardware standards for physical AI and simplify deployment of computer vision models in real world environments.

Through the partnership, DEEPX’s NPU hardware and software toolchain will be integrated directly into the Ultralytics ecosystem. Developers will be able to export YOLO models to DEEPX hardware using a native “format=deepx” command, streamlining the process of deploying AI applications at the edge.

The integration includes automated model quantization and validation, along with a continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maintain compatibility with new Ultralytics updates. The DEEPX DX-M1 NPU will serve as the core platform for these deployments.

Both companies plan to support the global developer community through joint webinars, open source initiatives, and co-branded activities focused on building physical AI systems using DEEPX architecture.
