Tenable Expands Platform with AI Exposure Tool for Generative AI Risk Management
Tenable has announced the launch of AI Exposure, an expansion of its Tenable One platform, aimed at managing the risks associated with the use of generative AI tools in enterprise settings. This new solution provides organizations with the ability to gain visibility, manage risks, and enforce policies related to generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot.
The AI Exposure tool offers comprehensive AI discovery capabilities, integrating insights from Tenable AI Aware and AI Security Posture Management. It enables organizations to identify both sanctioned and unsanctioned AI usage, understand user interactions, and monitor data flows that could introduce risks. The tool also includes risk management and prioritization features to address potential data leaks, misconfigurations, and unsafe integrations.
For governance, AI Exposure introduces policy enforcement mechanisms to control AI usage according to organizational standards, mitigating threats like prompt injection attacks and output manipulation. The solution is agentless and can be deployed across enterprises quickly, providing a unified view of risk within the Tenable One platform.
Currently available through a private customer preview program, Tenable AI Exposure is expected to be broadly accessible by the end of 2025, reflecting the growing need for effective management of AI-related risks in corporate environments.
