SATELLAI Unveils Sense AI, Cat Tags and Satellite Dog Tracker

September 09, 2026
SATELLAI introduced updated AI software for pet behavior insights, connected cat tags and a dog tracker that works beyond cellular coverage.

SATELLAI unveiled in a press release a new version of Sense AI and several connected pet devices at IFA 2026 in Berlin. Sense AI analyzes pet data, information from owners and breed context to identify behavioral changes and present them in natural language.

New Sense AI features include personalized pet portraits, a pet journal and a virtual nanny that flags unusual changes in habits or activity. The company says the software provides information about behavioral changes but is not intended to make medical diagnoses.

The company also introduced the Cat Tag, a Bluetooth activity and behavior tracker that weighs around 4 grams and attaches to a breakaway collar. A planned Cat Tag Pro will add LTE connectivity and GPS for outdoor cats. Both products are scheduled to launch by the end of 2026 in the United States, Europe and Japan.

The harness mounted Tracker Ultra for dogs combines GPS with direct satellite connectivity to send location data beyond cellular coverage. It uses a Qualcomm 9205S modem and Skylo's satellite network.
