
Roots Appoints Robin Spaulding to Lead AI Transformation in Insurance
Roots, creator of the agentic AI platform for insurance, has appointed Robin Spaulding as head of insurance to spearhead its AI transformation efforts. Announced in a press release, Spaulding brings over 30 years of experience in the property and casualty industry to the role.
In her new position, Spaulding will focus on modernizing claims and underwriting activities, optimizing operations, and accelerating AI integration across the insurance value chain. She will work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure that Roots' offerings meet the needs of carriers, TPAs, and brokers as they navigate digital transformation.
Spaulding's extensive background includes roles as a divisional vice president of claims and a consultant for global insurance strategy projects. Her expertise in integrating AI into core operations will be instrumental as Roots continues to expand the capabilities of its InsurGPT™ model and agentic AI platform.
