Roblox has launched 'Moments', a new feature for sharing short-form gameplay videos, announced at the Roblox Developers Conference. This TikTok-like feature allows users aged 13 and older to capture, edit, and share clips of their gameplay in a scrollable feed. Users can trim clips to 30 seconds, add music, and write descriptions before sharing them with the community. The feature is currently in beta and includes moderation to ensure age-appropriate content, as announced on their website.

In addition to 'Moments', Roblox is introducing new AI tools for creators. These tools enable the generation of interactive 3D objects, such as vehicles and weapons, from text prompts. This advancement allows creators to move beyond static 3D objects, enhancing the creative possibilities within the platform. Furthermore, Roblox is rolling out real-time voice chat translation and new text-to-speech and speech-to-text APIs, broadening the scope for immersive and interactive experiences.

Roblox also announced an increase in earnings for creators by raising the Developer Exchange rate, allowing creators to earn more when converting Robux into cash. This move is part of Roblox's ongoing efforts to support its creator community and enhance the platform's economic ecosystem.
