Research Solutions launches Article Galaxy plugin for ChatGPT

The Article Galaxy plugin lets researchers check journal access and reuse rights, order documents, and track deliveries from ChatGPT.

Research Solutions announced in a press release that Article Galaxy is available as a ChatGPT plugin. Researchers can mention @Article Galaxy in prompts to check article availability through their organization, verify access and reuse rights, order documents, and track orders.

Purchased PDFs are delivered through the user's Article Galaxy account. The service routes requests through subscription access, open access, or individual purchases and covers more than 80 million full text, peer reviewed journal articles.

Article Galaxy also connects to Claude and other assistants that support Model Context Protocol through the Research Solutions MCP server. The ChatGPT plugin requires an Article Galaxy account with MCP access.
