Lightbringer launches connections that let research and development teams work with registered patent agents from Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, the company announced on its website.

Teams can turn AI conversations, design documents, pull requests and meeting notes into structured invention disclosures. They can also check disclosures for missing details, search earlier invention records, review attorney comments and redlines, and respond to feedback.

The connections use the Model Context Protocol. Lightbringer also offers a plugin for Claude and Claude Code with guided workflows for refining inventions, requesting patent preparation and responding to attorney reviews.

Lightbringer MCP is available at no extra charge through the company's free Starter plan. The plan includes invention capture, patentability assessment, patent strategy and a consultation before filing.
