LegalZoom Launches AI Assistant for Small Business Compliance
LegalZoom launched LegalZoom AI Assistant, the company said in a press release. The free tool answers operational and compliance questions using information from each customer's business records.
The assistant can check entity status, identify filing deadlines and direct users to relevant services for formation, amendments, licenses, annual reports and other business needs. It can also connect customers with a licensed attorney or specialist when a question requires human judgment.
The assistant is available through LegalZoom accounts, including free accounts for owners who formed a company elsewhere or have not yet formed one. LegalZoom apps are also available in ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini and Perplexity. The company said customers have used the assistant hundreds of thousands of times since August.
