Replit has raised $250 million in a funding round led by Prysm Capital, valuing the company at $3 billion. This funding round also saw participation from investors such as Amex Ventures and Google's AI Futures Fund, announced in a press release. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its engineering, research, and marketing teams.

Replit has also announced the launch of Agent 3, its most autonomous AI tool to date. Agent 3 is designed to assist in software development by testing and fixing code autonomously, and it can operate for up to 200 minutes. This new tool aims to enhance productivity for both experienced developers and non-technical users by automating complex tasks.

The company, which has grown its annualized revenue from $2.8 million to $150 million in the past year, now serves a global community of over 40 million users. Replit's products are also available through the Google Cloud Marketplace, further expanding its reach to enterprise customers.
