Ashby Expands AI Recruiting Platform with Agents, Assistant, and MCP Support
Ashby announced in a press release a broad expansion of its AI capabilities, introducing new agents, an assistant, and integrations designed to automate recruiting workflows. The updates were unveiled at the company's annual Ashby One conference in San Francisco.
The new features include Custom Agents for repeatable tasks such as candidate debriefs, the Ashby Assistant for chat-based interaction with recruiting data, and integration of the assistant within Slack for actions like submitting feedback and sending emails. Ashby also introduced Scheduling Agents in preview, which can manage interview coordination and rescheduling, and an AI Interviewer powered by Talent Llama that conducts structured interviews directly within the platform.
Ashby is also adding support for its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which will allow third-party AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to query and update hiring data within Ashby. This enables customers to connect recruiting workflows with broader AI systems. MCP support and additional agent-based features are expected to roll out in the coming months.
The company stated that Ashby Assistant and Custom Agents are available in beta starting today.
