Haystack Expands MCP Server to ChatGPT, Copilot and Slack

Oct 22, 2026
Haystack's MCP server now connects its intranet platform to ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Slack, adding to its existing Claude integration. Write access will arrive across all four platforms on October 26.

Haystack announced in a press release that its Model Context Protocol server now works with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Slack, alongside its existing Claude integration. The server launched in Claude in August.

Employees can ask questions through any of the four services and receive answers based on intranet content, with links to the source in Haystack. Each employee signs in with an individual Haystack account, and access follows that user's existing permissions.

Write access will become available across all four platforms on October 26. An AI assistant can then draft a knowledge page and save it as a private page, or write a post for a group where the employee can publish. Write access is optional, administrators can block individual tools, and Haystack says no customer data is used to train AI models.
