Accenture Invests in Replit to Advance AI-Driven Software Development
On April 9, 2026, Accenture announced an investment in Replit through Accenture Ventures to accelerate AI-driven software development for enterprises. Alongside the investment, the companies are entering a strategic partnership to explore how AI-native development can transform enterprise software creation.
The collaboration aims to help organizations move from concept to working application more quickly by applying AI-assisted development methods. These approaches, often referred to as “vibe coding,” use natural language prompts and autonomous AI agents to generate and refine code. Accenture and Replit will work together to identify scalable use cases and new development workflows suitable for enterprise environments.
Replit offers a cloud-based platform that combines coding environments, AI-powered code generation, collaboration tools, and hosting in one workspace. Its AI agents enable teams to write and modify code through natural language, simplifying the process of building and deploying applications. The partnership will combine Accenture’s enterprise technology expertise with Replit’s AI development tools to support global adoption of AI-driven software creation.
Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
