Praecipio Launches AI Incubator and Intelligence Gateway at Atlassian Team '26
Praecipio has announced three major initiatives at Atlassian's Team '26 conference in Anaheim: the launch of its AI Incubator team, the introduction of the Praecipio Intelligence Gateway, and a company-wide goal to certify half of its staff in AI by the end of 2026, according to a press release.
The Praecipio Intelligence Gateway is described as a proprietary AI-assisted delivery framework that collects insights from more than 250 annual Atlassian client engagements. It is designed to improve project delivery by applying accumulated knowledge across future projects. The company stated that upcoming Marketplace apps will be built on this framework.
The AI Incubator will lead product and technical strategy under Head of AI Strategy Clayton Chancey, with contributions from field, engineering, and integration leads. The team is tasked with developing and operationalizing AI capabilities across client solutions.
Praecipio also committed to certifying 50 percent of its workforce in AI by December 2026. The program will cover tools and platforms including Atlassian Rovo and Anthropic, ensuring that staff apply AI skills directly in client engagements. The company noted that this initiative aligns with the ongoing migration of enterprises to Atlassian Cloud ahead of the platform's Data Center end-of-life in 2029.
