Rendezvous Robotics and Starcloud Partner on Orbital AI and Energy Infrastructure

November 06, 2025
Rendezvous Robotics and Starcloud have signed an agreement to integrate autonomous assembly and orbital computing technologies to support gigawatt-scale datacenters and power systems in space.

Rendezvous Robotics and Starcloud have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore integration of autonomous in-space assembly systems with orbital computing and power infrastructure, announced in a press release.

The partnership combines Rendezvous' modular assembly technology with Starcloud's orbital power generation and thermal management platforms. The companies aim to develop gigawatt-scale datacenters and energy systems constructed directly in orbit.

Under the agreement, both firms will assess technical and commercial pathways for orbital architectures supporting high-performance computing, communications, and energy applications. Planned evaluations include Rendezvous' self-assembling solar arrays and thermal radiator systems, with potential flight demonstrations to validate integrated operations in space.

The collaboration seeks to address mass, cooling, and scalability constraints of terrestrial and satellite-based systems, enabling continuous, high-efficiency computing and power generation beyond Earth.
