Seeq and Applied Computing Pair AI Tools for Energy Operations
Seeq and Applied Computing announce a commercial agreement that pairs the Orbital foundation model with Seeq's industrial analytics platform, according to a company press release. The combination will support anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and investigations across energy operations.
Orbital identifies equipment and process issues using physics based models. Operations teams can then use Seeq to investigate those findings, add operational context, visualize data, and prepare recommendations.
The first application will support INSITE, a digital platform from KBR for ammonia, petrochemical, liquefied natural gas, and oil and gas plants. Analysts at the KBR Innovation Studio Bengaluru will use Seeq to examine anomalies found by Orbital and create reports and recommendations for customers. Seeq and Applied Computing also plan to explore an integration that allows both systems to share context.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
