Promise Secures Strategic Investment from Google's AI Futures Fund
Promise, a generative AI-powered studio, has announced a strategic investment from Google's AI Futures Fund, as stated in a press release. This investment will support Promise's efforts to integrate Google's AI products into its proprietary workflow platform, MUSE.
Founded by AI artist Dave Clark, George Strompolos, and Jamie Byrne, Promise is leveraging its new partnership with Google to enhance its AI-assisted productions. The studio is also collaborating with DeepMind researchers and Google's AI teams to push the boundaries of AI-driven creative expression.
In addition to Google's investment, Promise has attracted funding from Crossbeam Venture Partners, Kivu Ventures, Saga Ventures, and other notable investors. This financial backing will aid Promise in its mission to blend world-class artistry with cutting-edge technology, as it prepares to begin production on its first feature-length film this year.
