Promise Robotics Expands AI-Driven Homebuilding Factory in Calgary
Promise Robotics is expanding its Homebuilding Factory-a-Service to North America, as announced in a press release. The company plans to deploy its production lines at a new 60,000-square-foot warehouse in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, set to begin operations in the summer of 2025. This facility will have the capacity to produce up to 1,000,000 square feet of housing annually.
The expansion leverages Promise Robotics' AI-driven robots to address housing shortages in Canada and the United States. The company aims to transform the traditional homebuilding industry by enabling faster production with fewer resources. The Calgary facility builds on the success of their Edmonton Factory-as-a-Service, offering a complete solution from blueprint digitization to AI-powered robotic manufacturing.
Promise Robotics' approach allows for rapid deployment of production systems in existing warehouses or temporary structures, providing a flexible solution to meet fluctuating housing demands. The company manages the entire automation lifecycle, allowing builders to focus on home construction and business growth. The new Calgary facility is expected to enhance housing supply and support local communities by using regional materials and labor.
