Ping An Unveils AI Solutions Across Healthcare, Insurance, and Payments at WAIC 2026
Ping An Insurance unveiled new artificial intelligence products and services spanning healthcare, insurance, and payments at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2026, announced in a press release.
In healthcare, Ping An launched a portfolio of AI tools designed for disease prediction, disease-specific insurance, and cancer management through the Peking University Healthcare AI Disease Manager. The company’s AI Family Doctor service, operated by Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company Limited, currently supports 90 million monthly users and over 11,000 diagnosed conditions, combining virtual responses with physician involvement.
Ping An Property and Casualty has implemented AI across all major business processes, achieving full coverage in its insurance operations. The company’s EagleX platform integrates over 100 risk models for disasters such as floods and urban catastrophes. Its AI-based policy issuance system now automatically handles 93 percent of new vehicle insurance policies, reducing average processing time to 1.2 minutes.
In financial services, Ping An Bank Credit Card introduced an AI credit card that allows customers to redeem reward points for AI computing resources. The firm also launched Express Service, a financial AI assistant available to 251 million users across its banking, insurance, and healthcare units. The service has seen usage nearly triple over the past three months, reaching a peak of 1.1 million daily sessions.
Ping An stated it will continue to expand AI adoption across its finance and healthcare operations to enhance service efficiency and connectivity across its ecosystem.
