Norm Ai Raises $120 Million Series C Led by Khosla Ventures
Norm Ai has raised $120 million in a Series C funding round at a $1.2 billion valuation, led by Khosla Ventures, announced in a press release. The round also included participation from Blackstone, Bain Capital Ventures, Craft Ventures, Coatue, Vanguard, New York Life, and TIAA. This brings the company's total funding to over $260 million since its founding less than three years ago.
Norm Ai builds AI agents designed for legal and compliance use, combining AI engineers and attorneys to embed law into automated systems. Its affiliated firm, Norm Law LLP, operates entirely on the Norm Ai platform and offers legal services supervised by senior attorneys. The firm prices services based on outcomes rather than hourly billing.
The company stated that clients representing more than $30 trillion in assets under management use its technology. Norm Ai's agents are also being used to supervise other AI systems in regulated environments to ensure appropriate performance.
The new funding will be used to expand legal practice areas, hire additional personnel, and continue developing supervisory agents for enterprise deployments in regulated sectors.
