Harvey Adds DeepL Translation for Legal Documents
DeepL said in a press release that Harvey has selected its translation API to power document translation inside Harvey's legal AI platform.
The integration lets Harvey users upload a document, choose a target language, and receive a translated version that keeps the original structure and formatting. It supports more than 100 languages and is expected to handle more than one third of Harvey's total document translation volume.
Harvey said document translation is one of its most used workflows. The company serves more than 200,000 lawyers across more than 2,400 organizations in 70 countries.
DeepL said its system supports custom glossaries and complex document formats. The company also cited enterprise security controls including no permanent data retention for enterprise and paid users, GDPR compliance, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001 certification.
