Standard Metrics Raises $20 Million for AI Portfolio Management Platform

Standard Metrics raised $20 million in Series B funding led by 8VC. The company will use the funding to expand AI features for portfolio management in venture capital and private equity.

Standard Metrics has raised $20 million in Series B funding led by 8VC, the company announced in a press release. The round included participation from Salesforce Ventures, Spark Capital, January Capital, First Trust Capital Partners, Socii Capital, Kindergarten Ventures, Calm Ventures, and Gaingels.

Standard Metrics provides portfolio management software for venture capital and private equity firms. Its platform supports portfolio performance tracking, investment data management, benchmarks, portfolio reviews, valuations, LP reporting, diligence, and reporting workflows.

The company said it has added AI document parsing, an AI Analyst tool, MCP interoperability, and AI services for data operations and portfolio analytics. Standard Metrics said its platform supports more than 10,000 portfolio companies and 150 firms managing over $400 billion in assets.

Standard Metrics plans to use the funding to expand its AI capabilities, grow its team, and bring its platform to more private market investors and portfolio companies.
