Munters Expands Virginia Data Center Cooling Plant

Munters completed an expansion of its data center cooling campus in Daleville, Virginia, adding manufacturing, training and testing capacity.

Munters completed an expansion of its data center cooling campus in Daleville, Virginia, the company said in a press release. The facility spans 565,000 square feet, employs nearly 600 people and is the largest of the company's five manufacturing sites dedicated to data center technology.

The expansion adds manufacturing, training and testing capacity. New infrastructure includes the Munters Service Academy, production test stands and a chiller laboratory with an environmental chamber.

The site now produces chillers locally, including the Circlemiser chiller. It also manufactures air side economizers, SyCool Split systems, computer room air handlers, fan coil arrays and coolant distribution units for data centers supporting AI and high performance computing.
