Metal Shark and HavocAI Partner on Autonomous Military Vessel Fleets
Metal Shark and HavocAI have announced a strategic partnership to integrate HavocAI’s collaborative autonomy platform across Metal Shark’s High-Speed Maneuverable Unmanned Surface Vessels (HSMUSVs), according to a press release.
The collaboration will enable a single operator to manage multiple unmanned vessels simultaneously, allowing complex missions to be executed through autonomous, networked boat swarms. HavocAI’s autonomy technology has already been deployed with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and several allied forces.
Metal Shark produces a range of military vessels, including the U.S. Navy’s 40 PB combatant craft and 85-foot Near Coastal Patrol Vessels. The company has delivered over 2,000 vessels to U.S. and foreign militaries and first responders.
HavocAI’s system supports heterogeneous fleet coordination, making it adaptable across different vessel types and manufacturers. The partnership aims to enhance mission flexibility and asset utilization for U.S. and allied defense operations.
