Medivis Launches AI-Powered Spine Navigation Platform in the U.S.
Medivis Inc. has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Spine Navigation platform, as announced in a press release. This platform, which integrates augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI), is designed to assist surgeons in both open and minimally invasive spine procedures. The company has also announced the commercial launch of this technology across the United States.
The Spine Navigation platform offers several key features, including surgical intelligence through proprietary computer vision algorithms and AI segmentation. It provides real-time data analysis and advanced image processing to deliver precise insights during surgical procedures. Additionally, the platform's ergonomic design allows surgeons to access critical information comfortably, using lightweight AR hardware with hand tracking and voice commands.
Medivis emphasizes the platform's seamless integration capabilities, allowing it to work with existing spinal hardware and imaging systems from major commercial vendors. This makes the technology easy to deploy in various operating room settings, including ambulatory surgical centers.
