Biolabs International Launches AI-Powered SpeedySwab for At-Home Respiratory Testing

Nov 21, 2025
Biolabs International has launched SpeedySwab, an AI-driven at-home rapid test that connects users to telehealth providers for faster diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illnesses.

Biolabs International has launched SpeedySwab, an over-the-counter rapid test line powered by AI-based Computer Vision Machine Learning (CVML) technology, announced in a press release. The system enables users to perform at-home respiratory tests and connect directly to licensed telehealth providers for same-day treatment guidance and medication access.

The SpeedySwab app, built on Safe Health’s connected diagnostics platform, allows users to complete testing and treatment without visiting a clinic. Early trials showed up to 68% lower care costs and a fourfold reduction in time to treatment compared to traditional visits. The average total care cost per episode was reported at $51.46, with most users completing the process out-of-pocket.

SpeedySwab’s integrated CVML technology enhances test accuracy by digitally interpreting results, minimizing user error, and standardizing readings. In pilot studies involving 4,200 participants, 93% found the process easier than in-office visits, and 87% avoided unnecessary clinic appointments. The company reported that 74% of prescriptions were fulfilled within three hours.

Biolabs International plans to expand the use of its AI-driven CVML system to additional diagnostic categories, aiming to improve accuracy and accessibility across a wider range of over-the-counter and point-of-care testing devices.
