MediView Gains CE Mark for Augmented Reality Healthcare Platform in Europe
MediView has obtained its first CE mark certification, enabling the company to bring its mixed reality medical visualization system to healthcare providers across Europe, announced in a press release. The certification confirms that MediView’s technology meets European Union standards for safety and performance.
The company’s augmented reality platform integrates multiple imaging sources into a 3D holographic display, giving clinicians real-time spatial visualization during procedures. It supports image-guided interventions by enhancing visualization, workflow efficiency, and collaboration.
The system also enables remote consultation, training, and proctoring, allowing healthcare professionals to collaborate in real time. With the CE mark, MediView can now deploy its mixed reality ecosystem across European hospitals to support minimally invasive procedures and advanced visualization in clinical care.
