Neuraxpharm and mjn-neuro to Launch AI Wearable for Early Seizure Detection

November 27, 2025
Neuraxpharm and mjn-neuro announced plans to launch EPISERAS, an AI-powered wearable device designed to predict epileptic seizures in real time. The certified medical device uses a discreet earpiece sensor to monitor brain activity and alert users minutes before a potential seizure.

Neuraxpharm and mjn-neuro announced in a press release plans to launch EPISERAS, a digital health solution that uses artificial intelligence to predict the risk of epileptic seizures in real time.

EPISERAS is a non-invasive medical device that continuously records brain activity through a discreet earpiece sensor. The system analyses electrical patterns in the brain using AI algorithms to identify when a seizure is likely to occur and sends alerts minutes in advance when the risk is high.

The device connects to a mobile application that displays seizure-risk data and notifications for patients and caregivers. It is designed for individuals with drug-resistant epilepsy, providing a proactive monitoring tool to improve safety in daily life.

EPISERAS has received CE and UKCA certification as a Class IIa medical device in Europe. A multicentre clinical study, SERAS-Home_RWD, is currently being conducted across Spain, the UK, and Germany to further validate the technology.
