May Mobility Launches Driverless Rides in Peachtree Corners, Georgia

May Mobility has introduced its first commercial driverless transportation service in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, marking its third driverless deployment in the U.S.

May Mobility, an autonomous vehicle technology company, has launched its first commercial driverless transportation service in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. This marks the company's third driverless deployment in the United States, following previous operations in Sun City, Arizona, and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The service, in partnership with Curiosity Lab, T-Mobile, and the City of Peachtree Corners, utilizes autonomous Toyota Sienna vehicles. These vehicles operate without a driver and serve eight pre-determined stops along Technology Parkway, including popular destinations such as hotels, restaurants, and the Peachtree Corners City Hall.

May Mobility's vehicles are equipped with its patented Multi-Policy Decision Making (MPDM) technology, which uses in-situ AI to adapt to complex and unpredictable driving conditions. This technology allows the company to scale its operations efficiently to new environments.

The driverless service is available to the public from Monday to Friday, 9:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., and can be accessed through the May Mobility app. The company plans to expand its operations in metro Atlanta and has announced a partnership with Tecnobus to introduce a new autonomous minibus platform.
